Providing Light

GSBF is a non-profit Trust and has no commercial activities. It collects donations and installs equivalent value systems in the villages identified based on propensity of need.

GSBF has a rural based team, which installs systems and maintains these to keep them in optimum operating efficiency. This after installation maintenance ensures lowest downtime and providers the donors value for their contribution. The Annual Maintenance charge is funded out of the Trust funds.

For every US$ 25 (Approx Rs 1100) we shall be able to light up a home with enough light

to read and perform basic tasks.

We would also work with NGO’s who could provide us the support systems where such already exist in a village. NGO’s also could assist in part funding the systems which is under their jurisdiction.

This in turn can save the village home some US$ 12 per annum in energy costs and also saves tones of Carbon Dioxide which would have been generated using fossil fuels like Kerosene or tones of wood cut from trees

Help us Provide Light to some 87 Million Homes in India. For every US$ 45 (Approx Rs 2000) we shall be able to light up a home with enough light to read and perform basic tasks.
